Alcohol Consumption
#1
When is drinking too much considered a problem? I keep adapting upon this fear that I may develop alcoholism. What are the proper steps/resources that I should look to? Does anyone else struggle?

I can't say I'm in the same boat, but if I'm home and not working, I can't help myself and I either get baked or get a solid buzz while drinking, so I have a problem with being sober.

Otherwise, I'd say if you start your day with a hard drink, do hard drinks for lunch, and you pass out drunk as fuck when you end the day, then you've probably got a problem. All day everyday is wild for alcohol, remember it's a poison. Everything with moderation and you should be fine. I tend to drink around twice a week when I've got bud at home, but that's just me

Good luck with your addiction. First step is admitting you have one

Checking out an AA meeting would be something to consider. They have an abundance of resources which allow you to come to your own conclusion. Alcoholism looks different depending on the person. Speaking from personal experience, I went to an AA meeting when I was feeling similar about my drinking. I learned quickly that I related to so many people and their experiences. Asking for help is probably the hardest thing to do because I felt I was unique in my own way and nobody would understand (if you experienced my problems in life you would drink like me too). However nobody judged me in AA because we all have the same disease (yes, alcoholism is a disease). It's a disease of the mind and if you find yourself in your head about if you are/aren't an alcoholic I would encourage you to talk to someone in AA. You can even call their central office in your local community.

I really like drinking a few glasses but never drink huge quantities.
The rule that i set for myself is that i try not to drink during the week without reason
