Important Requirements Before Submitting a Claim
- Only the copyright owner or a legally authorized agent may submit a DMCA notice.
- All claims must be submitted from a verifiable company or organization email address. Claims from free email services (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Protonmail, etc.) will be automatically rejected without review.
- Claims must be written in clear, understandable, and polite English.
- We can only remove content hosted directly on our servers. Content hosted on third-party services (such as Mega.nz, Mediafire, Dropbox, etc.) must be reported directly to those providers.
- Incomplete, unverifiable, or abusive notices will be discarded without response.
Mandatory Information Required for a Valid DMCA Notice
Your notice must include all of the following information:
- Full Legal Name of the complainant.
- Company Name (if applicable).
- Business Email Address (no free email addresses).
- Full Physical Address (street, city, postal code, country).
- Telephone Number (including international dialing code if outside the United States).
- Exact URL(s) on our website where the allegedly infringing material appears (specific links required).
- A clear and detailed description of the copyrighted work allegedly being infringed.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is unauthorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Verification of Identity and Authority
We may request additional information to verify your identity and authority to act, including but not limited to:
- A publicly available link to your company or organization website confirming your role.
- Business registration records or similar proof of ownership.
- Signed authorization letters if acting on behalf of a third party.
Strict Policy on Free Email Addresses
All claims sent from free email providers (such as Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Protonmail, etc.) will be immediately and permanently discarded without reaching our review team. You must use a company or organizational email domain that can be publicly verified.
Consequences for Abusive or Fraudulent Claims
Submitting a false DMCA notice may result in legal liability under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Abuse of this process may be reported to relevant authorities and may subject you to civil damages, including attorneys’ fees and costs.
