Anime going mainstream
#1
It's so weird seeing all those kids talking about anime and doing tiktok stuff with it. Now even many anime studios are releasing their anime on YouTube. Though I guess it's the best way to fight against piracy I guess. And also it's gonna spread even more, but what do you guys feel about it?

Who's even into anime?

A lot of people are they just don’t admit to it. Best anime of all time is cowboy bebop.

Somone know if the movie of kimetsu no yaiba will be in stream in few days?

Alot of people are into it, just depends on the crowd. It's just I think people don't talk about it as much as traditional tv shows

there are some animes that are better than most of mainstream series, also many people who watch anime don´t admit it.
I guess in the near future watching anime will not be so stigmatized.

I love anime so I'm totally okay with this. If it's easier to watch, then it's only a good thing.

I think some of the best ways anime is coming through the mainstream is through streetwear.

I don’t much care for Primatives Naruto and DBZ/DBS lines, but Hypland has some solid and quality HxH and Naruto pieces.

i love anime and appreciate that it’s getting attention and all but i feel like some people just don’t need to watch it

Anime is just cartoons from a particular country. That's like saying "I like amerime" and referring to family guy, no you f*cking don't.

The issue with american animation is that it basically doesn't exist anymore. Everything is either really crap CGI or outsourced to Korea, with a very few exceptions which arguably are still CGI, like south park, since everything is created and rendered on a computer.
