which is kinda bs when you think about it. people have walls and doors in their house to keep people from tresspassing. a border was is essentially the same thing. so why is one ok, but not the other?

It's been politicized. A wall is not as effective as other measures such as surveillance drones and patrols. They just find a way over or under it.
