Have little knowledge myself, just oil changes and replaced a fuel and brake line aswell as brakes, but literally thats it. If money was no object and i had garage space and time isnt a constraint, is it more of a pain in the ass than fun?

yea, its really fun. Pro tip, organize everything you've taken apart, and take before and after pics of removing stuff (so you can find it later). Also start with something cheap and easy like a golf cart/moped. Keep me posted on how it goes ma8!
