Hi all, just wanted to get your opinion on a course i'm planning to shift to. 

With today's broad spectrum of computer/IT courses, what do you think is best to take? I'm leaning towards cybersec or software eng. Any suggestions? Just want to make sure that it's feasible for the foreseeable future.

I think this depends more on your area of interest..
Both can pay well but what do you enjoy? 

If you don't know then I'd suggest some sort of access course where you get a taste of everything and a feel for what suits you.

I think both fields need some passion and to put all your effort into training and end up doing something that bored you would be pointless.

Other options could include networking, robotics, A.I., data science, project management, web dev. All these have a future in my opinion. (Maybe some more than others)

Despite what someone else suggests as the 'best' you need to figure out what's best for you!

Probably AI and Cybersecurity now or general IT as that isnt going away. Coding may be going the way of the dodo in the next 15 years so keep an open mind.
