I’ve “heard” that the PSP is really good for retro emulation, it’s fairly easy to get going.

The Pap KIII works. They need a lot of work. It is linux, but the interface is unusual and hard to load in new software. Adding files can need disassembly. Not best for battery life, but an open Android device with retroarch is probably best.

I suggest the Anbernic RG350 the hardware is pretty high quality for a chinese product and emulates almost everything perfectly.
