So, after I finally have gotten around to getting used to the mechanics of the Game, I'm searching for fun starting locations. Trying some viking start might be fun, though being unreformed is annoying. Suggestions?

An 867 Poland run is honestly pretty fun. Also surprisingly some of the African countries have some pretty fun start scenarios.

Only tried out Bohemia in that Region once, its a nice Duchy to have. I will take a look at other positions in that area then.
