I watched a video a while ago about Code Geass and was surprised to hear that many in the fanbase hated the episode where *SPOILER* Lelouch accidentally uses the Geass on Euphemia. I believe the main reasoning was that they wrote themselves into a corner with the whole Special administrative zone and the Geass triggering accidentally was too much of a coincidence for them.

I'm not really into many fanbases so I'd like to know of any other moments that caused an uproar in other communities.

That Code geass moment was pretty bad writing all in all. Lelouch accidently using his Geass and than spouting that line felt so lazily written compared to how well written the show was.
