I have been watching superman and lois and have really enjoyed it, however with the latest two episodes i have noticed what i like to call CWitus. where the main comic book or main draw for the shows are replaced with teenagers having romance issues or little problems being blown out of proportion to extend a filler episode when the issue could of been resolved in five minutes in any other episode.

I recently rewatched arrow and the only great season was season 2 (in my opinion) same with the flash and supergirl. why do these shows dip so much?

I think they dip for the same reason as any show. They run out of ideas and they just fall into the trap of falling into the trap of writing in the cliche stuff thats in every other american show.
They start the series with a plan, and once that plan is used up they don't know what to do.
The only way to fix this would be to get better writers, and probably decrease the number of episodes in each season

They're making a Batgirl series for HBO Max with one of the stars of In the Heights

Yeah I think the HBO Max shows will be better than the CW stuff

they are keeping the HBO max shows to 8-12 episodes i think. the story will be tighter and wont dip with filler episodes. i have heard that one of the producers has a plan for an episode where batgirl is fully in a scarecrow toxing hallucination, so that would be cool.
