Definitely depends on the family. I can imagine it's absolutely ruin some people's relationships in some cases, but for me, while it'd be kinda weird I wouldn't think any less of them.

Almost definitely changes to a negative attitude. You hear horror stories all the time about how hard it is for porn stars, sex workers or those that work in such industries to transition back into a non-sex related job...and you don't need Rashida Jones on Netflix to state that!

Most probably get office jobs and all that but not without withholding that information as let's face it, it's a weird thing to have on your CV.
