Socializing with new people can be hard. I've always been a movie quoter, and usually when I find the person in the group that appreciates that kind of humor it tends to be a huge ice breaker.

The one that broke the ice for me last was from Ted: "I texted a guy that said 'Come beat me up,' then I sent another text later that said 'Thanks.'"
