Does anyone have any cool first video game memories?

For me it was getting a snes for christmas, i can still remember how excited i was just holding the box let alone when i turned it on and started playing mario.

Getting my Sega Genesis! The back of the box had an array of thumbnails from other games and I would sit and stare at them, wondering what it would be like to play them. That, and reading Nintendo Power magazines back in the day, those were packed full of cool stuff.

Probably the lion king on the sega genesis, I always had problems with the ostrich bit in the second level and had to ask my mom for help
