Fps vs game graphic quality
#1
For you guys its importante to keep the game running smooth or a higher fps. Whats are you priorities

Obviously framerate. Games have existed with simple or not-so-good graphics for decades. Some of the best games have very simple graphics and they are very playable. But if the framerate wasn't functional then the game would be unplayable.

However, newer games that are cluttered with details and graphics probably do look worse with decreased graphics quality. But that's the fault of the game design.

No matter what you need a minimum functional framerate for a game to be playable.

Depends on the game, for like exploration type games I want to see the world so I'm ok with lowering framerate for quality, as long as it doesn't get in the way of enjoyment. But for fast paced competitive games like shooters, then of course frames win games, everything's going on lowest to get that 144 fps.
