I can definitely see a future in VR but I think it probably is still missing that one game that everyone has to play. It sounds like half-life alex is really close, but in order to play you need a ridiculously powerful computer setup.

once it gets cheaper and better, well see. but for all we know, it could advance way beyond expectations and still be niche because of the price range or people's interest in video games in general. a phone game will always be cheaper than a vr experience, no matter how fantastic.
