I think that would be very healthy for the Forum and more People would actively participate in Threads.
But there should be a limit on how many levels per day you can earn. For example 10 Comments give you 5 CL and that would be also the limit.

One of the cons would be that comments need to more moderated, there will be 100% some guys that write random stuff in every Thread and peace out.

What do you guys think?

Due to the sheer number of posts daily, this would be impossible to moderate

I am thinking of changing it, so that after say 50 threads approved, your CL does not go down by posting.

The other option is that replying does not reduce CL but does not award credits. And Threads award much higher credits

I think the second option is much better. People will post more Threads and more People can then participate in them.

I agree with the second option as well. Losing contribution points by simply replying REALLY discourages people from engaging in discussions and such. Otherwhise make it so, it only affects it negatively, in the leak section.
