Google APIs are anti-competitive
#1
I was playing around in Google's YouTube data API and I think the "quota" system is set up to prevent any meaningful implementation that competes with their own applications and services.

I mean, I didn't expect anything else from them, but I'm still disappointed.

Yeah thats really annoying

You expected something different? Google (Alphabet) is a monopoly, and they do everything they can get away with to maintain that monopoly. I'm sure they're pissed off about Rumble and their other competitors, but they have so much of the market that they don't care.

So make multiple API keys and rotate them when limited? I do this all the time with platforms I'm doing volume on.
