I'm not sure I find movies to be scary, but see them entertaining in the same way a rollercoaster is. A few recommendations off the top of my head would be:
Don't Breathe, Autopsy of Jane Doe, The Thing, Dark Song, Mama, Evil Dead and El Hoyo.
If you are just looking to be shocked then A Serbian Film, Martyrs or The House That Jack Built would be your go to.
