I think the new tick rate system is great, as one of my main complaints was the poor networking system. However i do feel the graphics are becoming more flashy and less realistic, moving away from the core philosophy of counter strike as a whole. would love to hear your opinions i think if they play it right it could end up well

I think the minimalistic visual style is really good for competitive, and it is clear that valve is not trying to add any extra clutter. it looks like a true comp fps
