If you're into grinding the same Monster many times to get the late game armor and spending the better half of an hour to kill a single Monster. I am, so I absolutely love this game, a shame the DLC almost never goes on sale (well, it does but only by like 20% most of the time) so I'm waiting until it doesn't cost more than double than the base game.
I was so tempted to buy it during the Christmas sale. But even without the DLC the game is absolutely fantastic.

I think it’s fun with friends but it gets pretty repetitive.

If you can get used to that there are no animation canceling and some long weapon animations then yes it will provide you with many hours of fun.

It can get repetitive, but when you first kill a new monster it is amazing.
