Is Python the best language to learn in 2021?
#1
Hi,

I have been debating to start programming for a little while now but I never really made the jump.

I was wondering if Python is the best language for beginners. I have zero experience programming but it seems that Python is pretty easy to grasp while also being very powerful.

What is all of your opinion

python and java are both pretty solid languages for beginners. Java syntax is probably much more similar to a bulk of lanaguages out there like C++, C, etc. but python has loads of cool built in functions. I started on Java but either is a fine choice.

Getting a good grasp of Python gives you a head start for machine learning and general data processing. Those are, I'd say, the killer apps of Python.
The former is why you have a lot of public Github repos containing state-of-the-art models...in Python, that you can run on your PC through Python scripts (assuming it has a powerful enough GPU).
The latter...well, let's say it's easier than learning Matlab Tongue
