Dumb question here but just wanted to check if viewing the site (and saving favorite sets to a mega account) is legal. HQ Leaks required gmail which I didn’t like to view there files.

HQleaks is safe for viewing, you won't get in trouble for visiting the site. The Shop only requires "Gmail" to deliver the content to you + updates, you don't exactly need to use Gmail, Id recommends using protonmail for its security features.
