Jake D got my Mega Account Banned and Refused to Refund

I paid Jake D $75 from his ad on this board for content. He sent me Mega links, which I saved to a clean Mega account using a VPN, but my Mega was shut down and banned before the content was even transferred. And no, I did not share any of it with anyone- I didn't even have access to all of it. After trying a few things with no success, I asked him for a refund and he refused saying that I could have stolen the content, which is absurd because I showed him proof that my account was banned before I even received it. He said I had to post here and if the admins approve, he will do a refund. I have the entire Telegram conversation saved that will back all of this up. Now I can't even use Mega anymore, which is even more bullshit; the least Jake can do is refund my $75.

BEWARE: I paid this guy $75 and he got my Mega account permanently banned before I even received all of the content. Then he refused to refund because he said I received the content (which I clearly had not) and the only way to get a refund is to post a dispute on this site.

Don't waste your money and risk getting banned.

Hey Mantis,

As shown in my message I can't refund a product you've already received, while I can offer a replacement no problem I can't give away free content. If you choose to get the replacement like I've offered you i'll be open to replacing you're content you lost. While I can offer countless replacements I cannot offer a refund due to the reason you've received the content and had saved it, allowing refunds after receiving content could allow for a loophole to get free content with a refund. If you want to go down the replacement route like I've offered I am willing to show you as with any other customers my unban method to get yourself a brand new account setup that won't get banned!

Note: I've sent you a message with a resolution to you're problem with mega!

The seller has offered a replacement, which is sufficient.

The fact that the mega account was banned, is no fault of the user. The fact is either the name/email/VPN IP or browser finger print has been banned by Mega, through no fault of the seller.

The digital nature makes a refund unfeasible, and they have offered to resend.

Adding to the above, if the "content" didn't finish importing, then how did this user "Get your account banned" ?

He sent me several Mega links to transfer to my Mega account. I didn't even get all of them from him before my account came up as banned. So no, I did NOT receive the content.

He has agreed to replace the content. Based on the fact, that there are NO other reports along the lines of your experience, it would suggest a "you" problem.

A refund is not acceptable, a replacement is
