Japanese or Russian?
#1
I've been wanting to learn a new language for quite a while and these two seem the most interesting and complex.
It will probably take years to even be fluent in one of the two so I'm having an hard time deciding which of the two I should devote my time...

Ask yourself what you will get from it once you have some fluency.
Using it for work? Plan on travelling to either country? Pop/internet culture?
There are so many factors unless you just want a challenge. Go for the one that you think is more difficult.
