Jet Lag

How does everyone else prepare for jetlag before going on vacation. I am currently on the East coast and will be visiting Hawaii for a week early next year. There is a 5 hour time difference and I am normally an early riser and go to bed early too. Any tips to prepare?

There are supplements that are specifically good for reducing jet lag, and being well fed/healthy and generally good on sleep can reduce jet lag to a minimum. Although for really long flights you can't fully avoid it.
