Julia - is it worth a try?
#1
im currently using python for nearly everything, but i heard some people calling julia the next python

what are your thoughts about this?

if youre already proficient in python then you can always explore new languages but julia isnt something that i have noticed gaining traction. barely anyone uses it in the industry and the academia is already so heavily invested in python. it's also being used by many people in different fields (e.g. scientists, mathematicians etc).

i am personally interested in golang. it was created by extremely talented people with different programming paradigm backgrounds. look into its origin and you will know what im talking about Smile its also backed by google so this is a strong indicator that golang is here to stay and make noise.
