Currently I'm running a western digital black 1tb nvme ssd and I run out of space quite fast. I was looking to find something of the same performance for around the same price maybe even better?

WD Black is one of the best drives you can get. If you are running out of space then the drive isn't really the issue right? You might be better off getting a 12-14TB External HDD and offloading files there and using the NVME for day to day stuff.

Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb both drives already have better performance than 99% of people need.

I agree the Samsung 970 Evo Plus is one of the best drives you can buy only really beaten by the Samsung 980 which is a PCI-E Gen 4 drive.
