What bands have you seen that didn't live up to their studio sound during live performances?

Bad sun's is the first that came to mind for me. Also shoutout to the colourist who had one member perform drunk and/or high and took the tempo all over the place for a lot of their songs and drove the other members nuts

Tie between Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and MGMT. Saw them both at the same small venue a few years apart. For edward sharpe, half of the band seemed high out of their minds, like rolling on extasy high. At one point the main girl in the band stopped playing walked off stage and just sat on the floor in the crowd. For MGMT, they just didnt want to be there and werent excited to play their hit songs, which I guess were sort of made as a satire.
