Multi-season vs miniseries shows
#1
I've always found that shows that are structured as a limited miniseries are much better than traditional shows that run on for many seasons. For one, there is a clear start and finish, without the possibility of the series going on forever. The writing is usually much better, and it is often just long enough to fully develop the story/characters without overdoing it. Examples of this are Sherlock, Band of Brothers, and Chernobyl.

Does anyone else prefer miniseries to traditional, long running shows?
