Whats the consensus on mushrooms guys? like eating them. Everyone i know thinks theyre dirty or taste gross, i dont get it lol

I would assume the same rules apply to them as to any other food. Some people will like them and others won't. I personally like them. Both to serve with meat as well as to use them for making a sauce.

I guess it’s just a personal experience, but a disproportionate amount of people I know think they’re gross haha. Absolutely. Steak and mushrooms w a nice gravy is a favorite.

Mushrooms are great, idk why people don't like them. They absorb flavor and when you bite into them its just juicy goodness paired with steaks and gravy

Regular button mushrooms don't have much of a taste it's true. There are some which have quite a disctinct flavour though like shitake and truffles. One of my favorite mushrooms is portobello, mostly for the texture but the subtle flavor is very nice too.
