What is everyones thoughts on DC making Jonathan Kent ( clark kents son) the new cannon superman taking over his dads place as the new main superman in the comics.

I think its strange that Kal el will still be the superman in justice league books however his son is the main superman in all other books.

Is this a good thing? or is it just a publicity stunt that will be over in a year?

I think it shows that they don't know what to do, so they're gonna go both ways, until they figure out which option is more popular.
