I'd recommend 'Fumetsu no Anata e' (To your Eternity). It's the only show I've really been interested in this season.

Never specified American or Japanese animations but Castlevania last season was pretty decent.

Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level Max ni Nattemashita and Fumetsu no Anata e are both good this season.
