The new minecraft has just been announced, apparently it is gonna be a RTS, it's strange to see it go from the first person route to a arts but I can see this concept working, given the artistic style of the game i think the amount of pixels you can fit on screen will make it compatible.

The name of it is Minecraft Legends, supposed to come out next year some time.
