What do you guys think the next big type of genre will be that explodes the industry causing multiple devs to jump on the bandwagon? Battle royales are obviously the most noteworthy of late. Arena style shooters like overwatch etc maybe a bit less so.

Predictions? Completely new/original idea? Or a resurgence of an existing one?

seeing as how farming and truck driver simulator are a thing, i wouldn't be surprised to see more of those mundane type games to let people zone out

Hopefully anything that isn't battle Royale. I think really really large scale PVP will be a thing here soon. Like 500 vs 500 MP matches.

i feel like there will be a resurgence of like 6v6 fps games, theyre still popular now but i think people will eventually get sick of brs
