Nintendo's assembly contractor (Hosiden) is reportedly planning to drop1 billion yen on automation and 2 billion yen on production equipment in FY3 (aka 2025) for their biggest production partner (which would be Nintendo). Based on this, I would think it is safe to say we'll be hearing release news within the month, and a mid to early 2025 launch for the console. As long as its backwards compatible, I think this will be great. Will be interesting to see what new they're bringing to the table with it.
