Probably are going to use a lot of CGI... for the story and such I dont have any worries, Oda is the director after all.

Because studio execs are salesmen by nature, and good salesmen come along and con them into seeing money everywhere in a project, even if the project is shit. So they greenlight the project, seeing nothing but money when they look at it, and congratulate themselves prematurely. And when the project turns to shit, they fix it by throwing more money at it. Then, when shit project goes to the big screen, they all insulate themselves from the project, and tell the accountants to use the film as a write-down, so they can get a tax break on it. And thus the circle of life is complete.
