Picking up new sport?

Hey guys,

Haven't played any real sports since early years in high school. Football is my main go to, but I want to broaden my scope of play. Im thinking basketball or table tennis as those two i've been able to try out the most at friends places. Any tips on picking up new or even old sports again after extended periods of doing nothing. I'm not the most fit as well. Thanks

I started picking up basketball again just cause it’s one that I can do alone fairly easy. If you’ve got a rec center you could always go there and keep it simple with some basic dribbling and shoot free throws, maybe a few jumpers to find a comfortable shot. Might be worth doing a bit cardio too if you want to play games, since it’s a lot of running back and forth!

I like Table Tennis but don't think I have really played it since middle school, so probably 20 years lol.  I am actually interested in giving real tennis a try.  I do like playing it on the Wii  Big Grin
