How many of you still pre-order?
With the amount of times companies have betrayed the trust of their fans they no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt, and pre-ordering is giving them money before they prove they deserve it, so I don't do it any more.
What's your personal policy and why?

there are certain games where I pre-order without thinking - e.g. elden ring instant buy, but I have become more cautious.
now i almost only buy games when they are out.
