4. Hereditary
5. The Babadook

My two favorite horror movies are The Exorcist and The Shining, although they might seem quite old-fashioned. Not really a horror movie, but I thought Us was also quite effective at producing some scares

Definitely the conjuring movies and insidious for me, its the creepy ghosts and atmosphere that they create, things like slashers really aren't scary to me.
