I heard that it was rumored to be in the making? Honestly I don't really know what they would add besides more processing power. The Switch is the least powerful console out of the major 3 console companies and some games on it run like garbage. (Pokemon: Scarlet and Violet) Honestly those games needed a bit more time to cook before they were released and I guess Nintendo realized that since the next major game isn't going to be released until 2025. Paper Mario plays pretty well though so there's that.
