The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
#1
The Grand Budapest Hotel is Wes Anderson at his most Wes Anderson-iest. The film follows Monseiur Gustave H. (played by an excellent Ralph Fiennes) and his Lobby Boy (played by newcomer Tony Revelori) as they embark on a journey of fortune Renaissance painting against the backdrop of pandemonium. It feels like Wes Anderson has reached the peak of his career.

It's probably my favourite of his films, the performance by ralph fiennes was pretty under rated tbh.
