I really hope not but in all honesty no i don't think they will delay the game but I do believe that they might do  something like online order only like through amazon or digital copies thats my opinion

digital copies are availi in same time, i personnaly preordere the collector one on amazon, i hope i'll get it in time !

Strange how everything is reverse and now FFVII:Remake is the only game NOT delayed.
