The PS Vita was underrated. I've owned a PS vita for about 1.5-2 months and let me tell you about my experience with it so far: Great. One of the first things I did after getting my vita was I jailbreaked it. jailbreaking my vita allowed me to get access to EVERY. SINGLE. PS VITA AND PSP game (I think every game [I'm pretty sure every game]). Oh and I should mention I got the PS Vita-1000 (the heavier, more luxurious feeling, oled screen one). The 2000 model is lighter, has a slightly better battery life, has an lcd display and does not have a proprietary port which I guess I would have liked to be the case for the 1000 as well. Now sure, there aren't many super good games for the vita but that doesn't mean there aren't any. My personal favourite is 'Gravity Rush' and Minecraft, but there are plenty of other cool games for it too, for example: Uncharted Golden Abyss, Undertale (yeah! pretty cool), Assassins Creed III Liberation. There are homebrew games too though, for example: GTA SA, Helltaker etc. Overall I love my PS Vita and one of the coolest things I own imo. Anyways, I think I've yapped for long enough.
