I recently saw The Shining. i had high hopes seeing it at all top horror film lists. It was very slow and boring. It was not scary at all. Maybe it didn't age very well. I haven't seen any properly scary movie after The Conjuring . The concept of The Nun was nice but not that scary. Is there anyone scared of shining it was very dull and if any suggestions about any scary movies tell me.

Movies that were taken from books generally aren't all that great. There are exceptions, but they're rare. Go read the book if you want to be scared.

Going to be honest, I feel like a lot of horror movies just don't age well. I think what scares as a society changes too much.

Wow, you idiots don't know what masterpiece is! You got to think about when this film was made and how it was created. The Shining is a classic Kubrick! It's like looking at the Sunflowers by Van Gogh and saying, "Yeah, it's overrated"
