To you, the expression "a couple of", as in, "get me a couple of beers"...

Is it:
2 beers
or
3+ beers (minimum of 3 to say a couple)

3+ definitely, “a couple” to me implies multiple which is more than 2

Uhm for me it is 2 of them, or at leat a few more (it depends).
But, generally, for me "a couple of" is equal to say "few".
So 3+ could be not so few at the end, but it is my 2c.

It means two to me. A couple of beers = two beers.
A 'couple' = a guy and a girl, not three or more guys and girls.
If you think a couple means 3+ things, you just weren't taught right
