What are your thoughts on Pokemon's current state? I personally don't like the franchise anymore and in my opinion, feel their last main game was rushed beyond belief. I think they know their fanbase very well: they will just buy their games regardless of quality. As stated, these are just my own opinions.

I actually defended gen 6 and 7 but 8 is beyond defending. There is no post game in gen 8 which is unheard of. Of course they add DLC instead but this is so infuriating. The map design is more linear than ever, and there's way too much handholding. Not to mention, the designs are very poor.

Large video game companies are notorious for making money grabs and I'm not surprised this is what happened with this franchise

I liked it up to gen 6 but the last game feels way too rushed, it is really short and I feel it lacks so much content.
