Thoughts on Billionaires?
#1
I know in America, we've long believed that hard work should be rewarded with financial success. We downright fetishize the rich and don't really question whether there is such a thing as "too rich." With billionaries accumulating wealth at an astonishing rate (70% increase in the last 18 months) while hundreds of millions are seeing nominal wealth/income increases, is it time to rethink how much wealth we can justify as moral and acceptable? Particularly when a billion is already enough to spend in one lifetime and multibillionaires increasingly use their wealth to buy influence instead of helping people.

Not the biggest fan of billionaires, seems like that money could do some good elsewhere. But I don't know how we would do it, they have so much power over our country.

The idea of becoming a billionaire is a good thing. How you become one is an entirely different matter. What you do with your money is also another matter. But, what paople lose sight of is, doing what you love is more important than chasing paper, as that paper is nothing but fiat anyway.
