Unity beginner projects

I've followed a lot of tutorials and I have a good grasp of both Unity and C#, but I struggle to come up with easy projects myself. The only game I actually made without "stealing" the approach from tutorials is Hangman. Other ideas I have sounds easy in my head, but when I fire up Unity to start the projects I often don't know where to start. That being said, most of the time I use the tutorials for the approach only, and once I know the first steps to take I do fine on my own. Any ideas for small games like this with relatively obvious first steps?
