This is a thread to post the rarest anime that you have seen, judging by the quality of them and whether other people would also enjoy watching it. 

For starters, I really liked Hidamari Sketch (a slice of life show about girls in an art school) and Isekai Shokudou (like Food Wars, but without the Wars and the ecchi).

Golden Boy. A 90’s anime, only 6 episodes if I’m remembering right, but it’s hilarious in SUB and DUB. The only anime I’ve watched 3+ times so go check it out if you want a nice light hearted laugh.

Don't know if this counts, but I enjoyed the Gunbuster mini-series from 1988, though I haven't finished it. It's a mecha series that was made by Hideaki Anno, the future creator of Evangelion.
