Hey guys, as stated above? We know that the 40- series will come out this year. As Nvidia and AMD are currently overflowing with chips, do you think it would make sense to wait and to buy a new series? or even a 30s then? it is only a couple of month after all.

If you don't need to upgrade its always better to wait as over time you'll get better cards for cheaper, but if you really need a card now, its a good time to buy the 30 series Nvidia or 6000 series AMD (probably better to go AMD if you don't need DLSS, Raytracing, CUDA cores for modelling/workstation stuff etc).

buy now as you get a chance as it may decrease performance through out the months/years

Maybe buy a used 3000 series card? I dont think they are used for mining now as frequently as the predecessors were used.

If you haven't bought yet, Now in June 2023 the market is finally looking a little better where if you want a 4000 series the prices are pretty good, especially on eBay!
